Many dried citrus fruits, including mandarins, are still in their peel, but these are mandarin oranges and hassaku dried fruits that have been separated from the bunches, cut, and dried. They are made using fully ripe mandarins and hassaku, so they have a surprisingly strong flavor, with the mandarins being extremely sweet and the hassaku being slightly bitter. We've packaged the hassaku together with the mandarins so that you can enjoy them occasionally between mandarins.
It's light and crunchy, and very easy to eat, so once you start eating it, you won't be able to stop. It feels like a snack, but it doesn't contain any sugar or oil, so you don't have to feel guilty about eating it. I would definitely recommend it to children and the elderly.
The hassaku has a stronger character than fresh hassaku, and is also a little bitter. I think adding a little saltiness would make a good snack to go with alcohol. I hope that many people can enjoy the flavor of seasonal citrus fruits for a long time, deliciously and easily.
