Farmer's Sun-Kissed Sangria Base
This unique sangria base explores the possibilities of various dried ingredients, not just fruits.
It offers a complex and intriguing flavor profile with layers of sweetness, acidity, bitterness, spiciness, and aroma. We encourage you to compare it with other sangria bases. The fruits used change with the season, but we plan to incorporate ingredients that evoke the sun.
■ How to make
Please prepare chilled wine and a container for making sangria (such as a pitcher or a large jar with a lid). Red, white, or rosé wine is fine. Even leftover wine will turn out delicious.
Put all the powder mix, spices, and dried fruits from the bag into the container. Pour 300ml of your favorite wine over it and stir well until the powder dissolves. Let it sit in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes before serving.
Even after you've finished one serving of sangria, the dried fruits and spices still retain their deliciousness. Pour another 300ml of wine, and for the second time, add 50ml of orange juice. Let it sit in the refrigerator a little longer to allow the fruit flavors to infuse into the wine more deeply, resulting in a richer taste.
The remaining dried fruits can be eaten as is. If they have been steeped for a long time, it's recommended to make wine-flavored jam by adding 30-40% of their weight in sugar and simmering over low heat for at least 20 minutes, rather than eating them plain.
