Ogurayama Farm in Azumino City, Nagano Prefecture grows a variety of fruit trees, mainly apples, as well as peaches and blueberries. The farm owner visits the farm several times a year to study blueberry cultivation, and we decided to make dried apples.
Akio Matsumura, owner of Ogurayama Farm , practices a fertilizer-free farming method called the "Doho Style," which grows fruit trees by activating the plant hormones contained in the plants.
Excessive fertilization has a negative impact on the plants themselves, the environment, and also on the people who eat the produce, so we wondered if there was a way to grow fruit without using fertilizer, and came up with this "Doho style."We now grow most of our fruit trees without fertilizer.
Apples contain polyphenols, which have strong antioxidant properties. They are found in large amounts in the skin, and the main component is proteanidine, which is also used in health foods.
These dried apples contain the natural nutrients of apples grown without fertilizer, including the skin.
Contains no additives such as sugar. Please consume as soon as possible after opening.
