Otaki Natural Farm is located deep in Akiu, Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture. For the past 30 years, we have been growing rice and vegetables without using any pesticides or chemical fertilizers, in order to avoid killing the microorganisms in the soil.
I wanted to make it easier to eat really delicious cherry tomatoes, so I decided to make them into dried tomatoes. This is a product we are proud of, and the owner, Mr. Shigeru, said, ``This is delicious!'' Dry tomatoes have a stronger sweetness and flavor than fresh cherry tomatoes, and go perfectly with olive oil, cheese, and garlic. It is also recommended for dipping in oil and making stews as it produces soup stock. It's also very delicious when dried as an ingredient in pasta or pizza, or eaten as is with nuts.
