Mr. Yoshikawa cultivates pears in a former pear orchard that had become fallow land in Kakuda City, Miyagi Prefecture. He is a young farmer in his third year of harvesting in Kakuda City. His activities know no bounds as he strives to create a tourist orchard with an attached campsite.

Mr. Yoshikawa is working on regenerating a vast orchard of about 9,000 square meters. Due to his busy schedule and the scorching summer, he couldn't keep up with shipments, and some pears were sunburned due to high temperatures. BLUEBLUEBERRY FARM purchased these pears, which were still delicious but couldn't be shipped, and processed them into dried fruit.

The pear varieties are divided into Kosui pears and Niitaka pears, depending on the harvest season.

Just one bite will surprise you with its intense sweetness, and the moist texture and gritty crunch characteristic of pears are refreshing. At the same time, I felt a nostalgic sweetness and aroma reminiscent of traditional Japanese sweets, which brought a nostalgic feeling.

We hope you enjoy these dried pears, which can be easily enjoyed anywhere, whether as a snack with tea, in confectionery, or as an appetizer.
