In commemoration of March 11th.

Hello.
The photo is one I came across at last year's Tanabata Festival.
"These Tanabata decorations are meant to remind us of the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 2011.
Each and every one of us will work hard for our hometown, Sendai, where reconstruction is underway.
With a view to the future, we hope to take on the challenge of creating a green hometown.
Children from 188 elementary and junior high schools, special needs schools, and secondary schools in Sendai City
Each one was handcrafted.”
It said:
My heart was warmed.
I'm from Sendai.
To be precise, my parents are from Sendai, and I grew up moving around Tohoku.
My grandmother, who grew up in Hama, taught me the Sendai dialect.
The grandmother lived in evacuation shelters for several months after the earthquake.
We returned to our beautifully renovated home with no traces of flooding on the floor.
"After all, Shiora is good. Anbe is good."
(My house is nice after all. It feels good.)
He said with a laugh,
He passed away peacefully in that home three years ago.
Even though the vivid memories of the earthquake have faded,
My memories of the people who connect me to Sendai are becoming clearer and clearer.
"Who's going to help me?"
That's what my grandma would say.
It means don't be lazy.
What I should do, what I can do for Sendai,
I have to keep working hard.
