These delicious apples are grown by Mr. Hariu, an apple farmer in Neshiroishi, at the foot of Mount Izumigatake in Sendai, using reduced pesticides and organic fertilizer.

Apples are cultivated in the Naneishi area at the foot of Izumigatake mountain, located in the northwestern part of Sendai City. Over 10 varieties are grown, including Fuji, Sansa, and Shinano Gold, with over 100 trees bearing abundant fruit during harvest season.

The apples, grown with organic fertilizers and minimal pesticides, become sweeter and more flavorful the more care they receive. I feel that Mr. Hariu's serious and diligent approach is clearly reflected in the apples themselves.
