There are many cases where the agricultural products that farmers have worked so hard to grow cannot be sold. For example, fruits and vegetables that are misshapen or do not meet the standards and cannot be shipped, or that are left unsold in stores and are discarded even though they are still edible.
BLUE BLUEBERRY FARM has been purchasing non-standard agricultural products from farmers and making them into dried fruit to sell. This time, as a new initiative to expand this, we will start the " BLUE BLUEBERRY FARM Upcycling Model " in which we will regularly buy clearance fruits from department store supermarkets and make them into dried fruit.
Department store supermarkets sometimes sell clearance fruits and vegetables that are still edible at reduced prices, but some of them end up being discarded if they remain unsold.
At BLUE BLUEBERRY FARM, we take these fruits and turn them into sugar-free, additive-free dried fruit, upcycled products* and re-deliver them to the department store supermarkets where they were sourced, or sell them in our online shop or at our direct sales outlet.
*Upcycled products: Items that were scheduled to be thrown away or unnecessary items are repurposed and transformed into products of higher value than the original item.
