In 2022, he started by manually clearing abandoned farmland near Akiu Onsen in Sendai by himself.

Little by little, we prepared the overgrown land and planted blueberry seedlings. With no knowledge or experience, it was a constant process of trial and error, but thanks to encounters with local people and experienced farmers, and their support and help, the field gradually took shape.

Before we knew it, there were about 760 blueberry trees lined up, and they had finally grown to the point where we were able to share in the joy of the harvest.

Blueberries grown without the use of pesticides are the fruit of the power of nature and the connection with people. The sweet and gentle taste of these blueberries is packed with stories like this. Please take your time to savor each and every one.

The blueberries in the picture are ripe ones from my master's field in Tomiya City, and the green ones are from our garden in early June. I'd like to get as close as possible to my master's blueberries.
