This is the 30th work in the Narabeta series, and it's called nami.
nami means wave (lol).
I cut old paper into wave shapes, arranged them, and layered ukiyo-e-style waves on top.
I created this book with the image of foreign books that have traveled far across the ocean, or old books from decades ago that have transcended time and space, reaching our hands today.
It has an atmosphere that seems to blend in with both Japanese and Western styles.
